2008 Programs
Impact’s goal is to create the next generation of entrepreneurs and to help youth realize their true potential by connecting people, knowledge and ideas, recognizing success and providing inspiration to leaders at every stage of their development. This is realized through our 2008 programs:
Entrepreneurship Week Canada
Entrepreneurship Week Canada is a nation-wide campaign that embraces innovation, imagination and creativity. The campaign will bring together entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations from across Canada to host educational and inspirational programs from November 17-23, 2008 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Impact National Conference
The Impact National Conference is Canada’s premier entrepreneurship event. It brings together the top 500 students across Canada for two days to learn, network and motivate each other to pursue the entrepreneurial spirit and will coincide with Entrepreneurship Week Canada.
Impact Portal
The “Portal” is a comprehensive online resource for all young aspiring entrepreneurs; providing not only the knowledge but also the network that is essential to achieving their goals and ambitions.
Youth Canada
Youth Canada is a leading online resource for Canadian high school students to find information that will enrich their lives and help achieve or further their aspirations.
Microcredit Competition
Microcredit Competition gives a $100 microloan to teams of high school students and challenges them to take an idea and earn as much money as possible within one-week. Like larger loans, the debt will be repaid, but any profits will be used to address a need found within their community or high school and further other microcredit initiatives.
