Kunal Gupta is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Impact Entrepreneurship Group, a non-profit organization. Kunal founded Impact with a group of like-minded students at the University of Waterloo and in a few short years, Impact has grown from a small conference to one of Canada's largest student-run entrepreneurship groups. With a team of over 120 student volunteers running national programs for over one million young entrepreneurs, Impact has established itself as a leader in promoting entrepreneurship to youth.

Currently, Kunal is the Founder and CEO of Polar Mobile, an industry leader in delivering end-to-end mobile solutions. Kunal is responsible for the vision and strategy behind Polar Mobile's business. Previously Kunal was a Consultant at Deloitte, a Project Manager at TELUS and in the Finance department at the Bank of Montreal. Kunal has also worked at Wesley Clover, where he was personally mentored by Sir Terrence Matthews. Kunal also spent a semester studying at the University of Hong Kong, participated in a program based in the United Kingdom called Encouraging Dynamic Global Entrepreneurs, and worked with Infusion Angels, an early stage Private Equity firm.

In 2006, Kunal was recognized as the Shad Alumnus of the Year for his achievements with Impact and was also recognized by the United Nations as a Global Citizen.

Kunal holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
